Imperial Palace

Season 10

Level Design, Combat Design, Environment Art

Inspiration for this level was taken from the City of Caldeum. The boss fight is a re-imagining of the first phase of the fight with Emeporor Hakan/ Belial, inspired by Diablo 3. The viper models are taken from DIablo 1, to provide an element of authenticity.

Fallen Gardens

Season 8

Level Design, Combat Design, Environment Art

Inspiration for this level was taken from Diablo 3's 'Gardens of Hope' and 'High Heavens' concept art. Custom 3D assets were made in Blender. The boss fight is with Skatu, a disciple of DIablo, who wanted to break into heaven.

Ruined Cistern

Season 6

Level Design, Combat Design, Environment Art

The sewers of Lut Gholein have been combined with aspects of the Far Oasis to create a desolate cistern. The boss fight is with a three headed Lernaen Hydra. New tiles were created in Photoshop in order to achieve the desired aesthetic.

Zhar the Mad

Season 7

Level Design, Combat Design

This map is split into 3 areas. The portal at the end of each section may or may not lead to 'Zhars Sanctum'. Ultimately the ambition was to create something that was unpredictable and that would keep the player guessing. The fight is with the reclusive, irritable mage, Zhar.

Sanctuary of Sin

Season 5

Level Design

A Dungeon made specifically for co-operative play. The Sanctuary of Sin is meant to feel ominous and threatening. The map culminates in a descent into the 'Black Abyss', characterised within Diablo lore and whereby players can fight the fabled Stygian Beast.

Shadows of Westmarch

Season 5

Level Design

Designed using the tiles of Harrogath, this map recreates the city of Westmarch, detailed in Diablo 3. The city was famously under siege from the undead hordes of the fallen angel, Malthael.

Royal Crypts

Season 5

Level Design

The Royal Crypts is inspired by Diablo 3. Underground cave tiles were mixed with monastary buildins to create this aesthetic. The boss fight is with Leoric, a prominent character within Diablo lore.

Canyon of Sescheron

Season 4

Level Design

An icy and desolate area that uses an under-utilised tile set taken from Diablo 2 - Act 5. The abonded fortresses present throughout the level were designed to represent the fact that Barbarians were said to have inhabited the plains of Sescheron.
