Project Diablo 2 is a mod of the cult classic ARPG, Diablo 2. Built by a collection of individuals passionate about pushing the game further than it's original form, we strive to maintain it's quintessential essence, whilst providing players with an entirely new experience. The game has a loyal following and new content is released on a seasonal, 4 month basis. At it's peak at the start of a season restart, the game has had upwards of 20,000 players online at a time.
My role is primarily as a level designer and enviroment artist, responsible for the creation of new 'maps', new assets and boss fights. This process is multifaceted and involves a whole host of skills including, editing of the games orginal source material, creation of assets using software such as Photoshop and Blender, audio engineering, VFX manipulation, design conceptualisation, consideration of game development fundamentals etc.
